I highly recommended The Original Keller Appliance. All staff were great to work with, but I must share that my dryer repair had a rocky start with an initial misdiagnosis of the issue, then their only repairman ended up being out ill for over a week. Can't help illness, but I was surprised to learn they have only one tech who makes house calls. A backup plan would be helpful for them so that clients aren't needing to postpone needed repairs when such a situation arises. Even though this situation occurred, everyone at the company was always very kind, courteous and helpful. They went out of their way to repair my dryer and I am very grateful. Travis replaced the motor and brought it to their shop for additional sleuthing and repairs. The workshop tech (Ben, I believe) worked his magic to discover and correct the continuing problems with my dryer. Clifton and Austin were always gracious in our phone conversations. We went to Keller Appliance and bought three appliances that were used but they were in such good shape. I enjoyed very much the sales people who were very attentive and very understanding of our taking our time. so after we had the refrigerator in our house for better than a month I noticed that one of the shelves was dragging and there was a pin that held the shelf up that was missing and I know it was not in the refrigerator when we cleaned it out. so I called Keller Appluance and told him the situation and the fact that we couldn't use the shelf the way it was. Lo and behold they found a piece that fits right over the piece that was left in the refrigerator and it worked perfectly and they didn't charge us for the time or the little piece that they gave us. We researched for 30 days to purchase a new washing machine. Wanted to be able to decide water level and have an agitator. Decided on GE washer . Our laundry area is located in the garage. After reading the installation instuctions it said the washer could not be used under temps of 60 degrees Fahrenheit! No one that sold us the machine knew this information. None of the reviews or information I could find before purchase informed us of this fact. After several phone calls we were able to return the washer. Another 30 days of reaserch we finally found a washer made in 2010 that fit us. We found it here at Keller Appliance. . Bill Cunningham is the owner and he answered all our guestions and showed us the difference in the older machines vs the new ones. What did we learn? Do not purchase a new machine if your laundry area is in the garage and they just do not make anything like they did in the past. Keller Appliance is the best local store owned by an honest man!We love our machine. It was a great price and working beautifully. The Original Keller Appliance came to pick up an old refrigerator that was no longer working. I had called several other appliance repair shops, but nobody would come pick it up. I own a carpet cleaning/fire water restoration company, I was in a last minute bind for multiple appliances on a job an hour and a half away, I called multiple new and used appliance stores, most were short, rude, or did not have what I needed. I got in contact with Clifton Dodson at Keller Appliance, and I cannot put into words how how helpful Mr. Dodson was. He absolutely went above and to say the least, he took my number, gave me his personal number, sent pictures, worked with me on prices. Answered every call, called other places trying to find what I needed, and came through with exactly what I was looking for. It was a odd and old size cutout and extremely difficult to find, I needed a specific color......he did it all. This is the man ANYONE MUST contact if they have any appliance needs. I purchased a used washer from these guys. From the beginning they were eager to help me find a washer that fit my budget. They had a large selection to choose from. I purchased the washer we agreed would fit my needs, and they delivered it and delivered it on time. After a couple of washes, there was an issue with a slight drip in the drum, and without question or dispute, they honored their Warranty policy and found me another washer right away, no hassles, just honesty and courtesy. Travis came out the day after we called and fixed our washer. The tech from Sears left a plug unplugged when he took the front off to replace a drain hose and he left a hand towel in the back of the unit that could have caused a fire. It took Sears 9 days to order the hose and after the tech they sent out to install it didn't test the unit before he left. Travis tested everything on the washwer and it's working great now. Clifton was able to schedule Travis to come out the same day I called about the globs of black plastic from a knife handle that had melted onto my dishwasher's heating element. Travis was able to remove the melted plastic, saving me the cost of a new heating element. The service was performed quickly and for less than $100!! What a relief. My wife and I had purchased a used glass-top stove a few years ago from these folks and that stove is awesome I have never had any problems with it to this day... Well Friday evening my clothes dryer finally died after 27 years of service. So I went up to Keller Appliance at 2:30 pm on Saturday. The guys in the store showed me all of my options within my budget and delivered it in less than 2 hours. The delivery guy saw that the plug type on my newly purchased dryer didn't fit my current outlet so he got a new power cord from his truck and installed it. Then he simply said that the vent hose that I had, although not clogged was really old and should be replaced. He went back to his truck and got a new vent hose and connected it. He moved the dryer into place plugged everything up and tested it and showed me it was working, getting hot air and venting correctly. He never asked me for any additional money for the plug, vent hose or the additional time he spent to get my dryer going. He said we make sure you are happy, you have already paid for the dryer, have a great weekend. This is why I will go back for any appliance needs I have. My Kemore dryer stopped heating yesterday, I took it apart and found a bad thermal fuse. Our Fridge went on the blink on this holiday weekend that was about to start! I had a great experience. As I was prepping to leave town for the weekend, my washing machine stopped draining. The Original Keller Appliance was not only able to come out same day - the other company I called couldn't come until Monday - they also repaired my washer on the spot. They gave me a 1-4pm time window, were there by 1:30pm, and were out within an hour. The service was quick. The repairman was friendly and helped me understand the issue. Came out to fix my old fridge a few months ago. it needed a defrost timer.so this is an old machine, but in the space it is in no nice new fridge will fit. so the defrost timer was replaced and the ice block was chipped out, but the repair tripped something else which would not allow it to cycle on again. perhaps some relay? the guy came again two days later and worked hard and fast to do that repair at no cost. i would not hesitate to use them again, though i just opted to replace rather than repair my bulky old machine- Robin Powell. 8/8/2017![]()
Very affordable. They actually answered the phone with an innovative feature: AN EFFICIENT AND POLITE HUMAN BEING! The technician came on time and figured out the issue immediately. They got the needed part and came the next day to install it. Clean, polite, efficient. All fixed. And then a follow up call to make sure the unit was working correctly. All around good shopping experience Pros; None of the appliances that I saw looked dirty or used even though this is a used appliance store. All of the items could pass for new. Friendly knowledgeable sales woman that new exactly what I was looking for even when I did not know the proper names of the types of appliances that I was looking for (energy star).. Same day delivery- Just what I needed since my budget is already stretched to it's breaking point. Very affordable prices, with high quality, modern appliances, and service that is professional, and knowledgeably about the products I purchased: A smooth top electric range in stainless steel- It is perfect in way possible and works like a dream come true. Bakes quick and evenly, so much better than my old stove. A matching stainless steel refrigerator that makes ice and dispenses water- I always wanted one of these and now I have it! My kids can’t stop getting water (which is an added bonus. Delivery was the next day after my purchase and they hooked up all the appliances and made sure they were running great and that I was completely satisfied with my purchase before they left my home. Needed a new refrigerator and stove set because my wife and I just purchased a new home and we had to leave our old set in our condo. A friend of ours recommended Keller appliances and we are so happy that he did because it turned out to be such a great recommendation. We were able to purchase a reconditioned stove and fridge that looks just like a new set. I had a broken electric dryer. I tried troubleshooting the problem myself online. While replacing some of the parts by my husband, there was still an issue with it. I called The Original Keller Appliance based solely on the reviews. I'm glad I did!! Superior service, the labor, parts cost and diagnostics fee were INCREDIBLE!! Washer was down and I called them. They sent out a tech by the name of Torry. Diagnosed the problem and said he needed to order a part which meant it could not be fixed today, but rather tomorrow! Great company coming and could not wash the bed sheets! Anyway comes out the next day (today) and installs the part and charged me for a service call, labor, and materials total of $257.57! Bought an older w/d set and paid for delivery (3rd floor apt). First got a great deal on exactly the kind of w/d we wanted. The set is expected to last for years to come and the delivery fee was more than reasonable. Everyone else we got quotes from for a brand new set wanted well over a thousand $$$ for a simple unit that had none of the features we were looking for and other features we didn't including other places trying to sell extra stuff we didn't need. The sells staff at Keller Appliance is extremely friendly and knowledgeable. They sold us exactly what we wanted and didn't try to upsell us what we didn't want. They answered all our questions and explained how they flat out back their products (which is awesome). The guys that delivered, did so on time as well as follow the extra instructions put in place to make the delivery easier for them. Noticed the fridge wasn't cooling while the freezer was. We'd used Keller Appliance in the past with great success and gave them a call. The Tech, Torrey, came out, was very professional, and diagnosed the problem and provided a written estimate. I was told that the diagnostic fee that I paid today would be deducted from the final bill if we pulled the trigger on the repair. Torrey also said they had a small veteran's discount. Bought a side by side in October 2013, the icemaker was dumping water into the freezer, which cause the ice dispenser to lock up as well. When we did get ice out it had a chemical taste to it and so did our items in the refrigerator side. They sent a repairman out 4 different times to diagnose and fix the problem. The fourth time he brought a part out and installed it. That still did not solve the problem. So at the end of January (well beyond 60 day warranty) I explained the problem and they apologized and asked me to bring it back in order to swap it out for another of my choice.
